After signing into my personal email account today, for the first time in over a week, I was shocked and super excited. To my surprise, many family members donated to Wyatt's Wishes for Christmas.
In total, Wyatt's Wishes received $60.00. This is enormous! $60.00 will make six care packages. This means that six families who are experiencing something so horrible and scary in life, will each receive an angel care package.
Each package will include one handmade crocheted blanket, one tiny stuffed animal (perfect size for a preemie), a handmade card, and a decorated keepsake box.
Thank you so much to those who donated, you have touched my heart and soon will touch the heart of others.
Welcome to Wyatt's Wishes! Wyatt's Wishes was establshed in memory of our son, Wyatt James. Wyatt was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Hydrops Fetalis at 28 weeks gestation. After going through a fetal intervention surgery, we lost our little angel at 29 weeks gestation. It is my life mission to ensure Wyatt's life has a purpose. Here at Wyatt's Wishes all things are created in loving memory of our little angel.
Donate to Wyatt's Wishes

Donations to Wyatt's Wishes
Wyatt's Wishes will now be accepting donations to increase the number of Angel Care Packages and cards that are made and distributed to families who are experiencing a "life changing pregnancy". Whether it be a life threatening condition or a stillbirth, all babies are deserving of a blanket, stuffed animal, and a card.
Wyatt's Wishes would like to continue our effort in ensuring all babies at risk are provided with an Angel Care Package. Wyatt's Wishes recently joined forces with Forever Warm an organization which creates and donates blankets to hospitals with babies in need. Forever Warm will be donating blankets for some of the Angel Care Packages. If you would like to visit their website please do so at Forever Warm.
If you would like to help make a difference in a family's life during an unbearable time, please consider donating towards Wyatt's Wishes. We have added a link to the front of our blog, so all you need to do is click the "Wyatt's Wishes" image. You will be directed to a secure Paypal site where you can donate. There is not a set minimum, as all donations are greatly appreciated.

Angel Care Packages
Wyatt's Wishes creates "Angel Care Packages" for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Currently, packages will be delivered to the Special Delivery Unit, which is where Wyatt was delivered. The packages include one baby blanket, a small stuffed animal, and a card.
The first "Angel Care Package" was delivered on Sunday, September 26, 2010.
Believe it or not, the nurse who delivered Wyatt, was there to receive the "Angel Care Package". It was so wonderful to have Lelia present for this milestone.
If you would like to donate toward the "Angel Care Packages" for The Children's Hospital of Philadelpia, please leave a comment or send me a Facebook message on Megan's Facebook Page.
